This 1998 Ferrari F355 GTS was purchased in 2008 by the current owner, who has since added approximately 8k of the 27k miles shown. The car is finished in Nero over black Connolly leather and is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Kreissieg F1 Valvetronic exhaust system, Stebro exhaust manifolds, and Tubi catalytic converters have been added, and equipment further includes a gated shifter, a removable black targa top, 19″ three-piece HRE wheels, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a Challenge-style rear grille, and pop-up headlights. This F355 GTS is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with assorted manuals, service records, factory wheels, accessories, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Nero (1250), and styling elements include a removable black targa top, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, flying buttress C-pillars, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, a Challenge-style rear grille, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. Black-finished 19″ three-piece HRE wheels are wrapped in 235/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires with 2022 date codes. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner.
The sport seats are trimmed in black Connolly leather, and matching leather extends to the center console, door panel inserts, and lower half of the dashboard. Amenities include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, a cassette stereo, and drilled aluminum pedals. A K40 radar detector has been installed beneath the stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 27k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. Aftermarket carbon-fiber air boxes have been fitted. A manufacturer recall related to the fuel line divider block was performed in 2010 by Ferrari – Maserati of Long Island in Plainview, New York. The timing belt was replaced at approximately 21k miles as part of a 2011 engine-out service completed by Universal Autosports in Glen Cove. Work in preparation for the sale consisted of replacing the left-side radiator in addition to the alternator belt, bearing, and pulley.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The selling dealer notes that Stebro Performance exhaust manifolds, Tubi catalytic converters, and a Kreissieg F1 Valvetronic exhaust system are equipped.
The removed factory 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires accompany the car. An owner’s manual, workshop manual volumes 1-3, service records, MOMO pedals, a car cover, a steering wheel cover, a tool kit, and spare parts are also included in the sale.
