This 1989 Ferrari Mondial T cabriolet was sold new at Wide World of Cars in Spring Valley, New York, and now shows 24k miles. Powered by a 3.4-liter F119D/G V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a black soft top, a beige convertible top boot, a gated shifter, an Alpine stereo, power windows, and air conditioning. It was acquired in 2024 from its long-term prior owner by the selling dealer, who subsequently replaced the timing belts, timing belt tensioner, idler pulley, valve cover gaskets, alternator, drive belts, spark plugs, and clutch. This Mondial T cabriolet is offered with the owner’s manual, a tool kit, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.
The Mondial was designed by Pininfarina, and the T model features body-color bumper covers as well as restyled side air intakes, door handles, and fenders when compared with earlier examples. The car is finished in Rosso Corsa and features a black soft top, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, black lower bodywork, and quadruple exhaust outlets.
The 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car is equipped with power steering and an adjustable suspension, while braking is handled by four-wheel vented discs with an anti-lock system.
The four-place cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in beige leather along with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, center console, and door trim. Interior features include a gated shifter, an Alpine stereo, power windows, and air conditioning.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 24k miles.
The longitudinally mounted 3.4-liter F119D/G V8 features two overhead camshafts per cylinder bank, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic digital engine management. It was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A timing belt service was completed in March 2025, at which time the timing belt tensioner, idler pulley, valve cover gaskets, alternator, drive belts, spark plugs, crank angle sensors, and clutch were replaced.
Manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a tool kit will accompany the sale.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
