This 1972 Ferrari 365 GTC/4 was purchased by the selling dealer in 2015, and it received over $148k in refurbishment work at Miller Motorcars between 2016 and 2018. The work included rebuilding the 4.4-liter quad-cam V12, six Weber side-draft carburetors, five-speed transmission, and limited-slip differential, overhauling the suspension and brakes, and repairing the heating system, passenger window mechanics, and right-front directional signal and wiring. The car was originally delivered to Beirut, Lebanon, and then spent time in Italy before being exported to the US in the mid-1970s. This 365 GTC/4 project is now offered with a Marcel Massini Report, and a clean Wisconsin title.
Around 500 365 GTC/4s were produced between late 1971 and early 1973, and the model shared an assembly line with the GTB/4 Daytona. Its bodywork was designed and manufactured by Carrozzeria Pininfarina, using steel and aluminum panels as well as a fiberglass firewall and floor pans. This example was originally Blu Ribot and has been stripped and primered.
Service records document service in 2016, including the replacement of the tie-rod ends, sway bar bushings, rear sway bar end links, upper and lower control arm bushings, silent blocks, thrust bushings, seals, and bolts. In 2018, the shocks were rebuilt, and the braking system was addressed with rebuilt calipers and replacement lines and hoses.
The 2+2 cabin was reupholstered in red and black during previous ownership and includes gray “mouse-fur” dash upholstery, fold-down rear seatbacks, and power windows. The heating system was overhauled during the refurb work. The condition of the interior is documented in the gallery.
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation, including a 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges monitoring oil pressure and coolant temperature. Auxiliary gauges and a clock are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles.
The 4.4-liter Tipo F101AC000 V12 and its six Weber side-draft carburetors were overhauled by Miller Motorcars in 2016. The engine features an aluminum block with cast-steel cylinder liners along with aluminum cylinder heads housing dual overhead camshafts. Output was rated at 320 horsepower and 318 lb-ft of torque.
The five-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential were rebuilt in 2018.
A Ferrari Classiche Vehicle Production Data certificate lists the original colors and delivery destination.
A Marcel Massini report is included and can be viewed in the gallery.
