This aluminum front bodywork is said to have been removed from a Ferrari 275 during a vehicle repair commissioned following damage sustained in the 1970s. The current owner acquired the piece around a decade ago and added illuminated lights powered by 110-volt wiring. A metal framework with mounting provisions supports the piece. This wall art is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner at no reserve in Lisle, Illinois.
The seller discusses the history of the aluminum piece in the videos below and emphasizes a focus on sourcing Carello lights and retaining previously painted areas.
Remote control-operated LEDs have been fitted within the light housings and behind the grille to provide backlighting. Power is supplied by 110-volt wiring.
A frame has been attached to the back. The overall assembly measures around 55″ wide by 19″ tall by 24″ deep and weighs about 27 pounds.
