1999 Ferrari F355 GTS 6-Speed

This 1999 Ferrari F355 GTS is a European-market example that was delivered new in Germany and later spent time in Spain and the Netherlands before being sold on BaT in January 2023. It was subsequently relocated to Canada and acquired by the selling dealer the next year before being sold by them on BaT in June 2024 and reacquired in 2025. Finished in Rosso Corsa over black Connolly leather, the car is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a gated six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Further equipment includes a removable targa top, 18″ magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, automatic climate control, and an aftermarket CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. Work since 2023 included resealing the gearbox and engine oil pan, repairing the climate control and lighting systems, and replacing the timing belts, clutch, rear main seal, and oxygen sensors. This F355 GTS shows 48k kilometers (30k miles) and is now offered in California by the selling dealer with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Red Corsa (332) and features a removable roof panel. Additional details include pop-up headlights, fog lights, an integrated rear spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. The body was refinished under previous ownership, and the front license plate holes were filled before the front bumper cover was repainted under current ownership.

Magnesium 18″ five-spoke wheels are wrapped with 225/40 front and 265/40 rear Bridgestone Potenza S001 tires showing a mixture of 2019 and 2020 date codes. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner, and the brake fluid was changed in March 2023.

The sport seats are trimmed in black leather, while color-matching material extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panel inserts. Appointments include automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, a gated shifter, power windows and locks, and an aftermarket Ideus CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. Work in March 2024 involved repairing the interior lighting wiring, replacing the alarm siren and passenger door lock assembly, recalibrating the heater mixing valve, and resetting the vent timing actuator.

The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a 320-km/h speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 48k kilometers (30k miles).

The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication. A timing belt service was performed in 2023, and engine-out work in 2024 included repairing oil leaks, changing the fluids, and replacing the rear main seal, engine oil supply pipe, and oxygen sensors.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The gearbox was resealed in March 2024, at which time the clutch, input shaft seals, and flywheel and clutch release bearings were replaced.

Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with a leather-bound tool case and service records.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.

The selling dealer states that the car cannot pass a California emission test, therefore it cannot be sold to an in-state private party buyer.
