This 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale is one of approximately 3,000 units produced between 2013 and 2015 and is powered by a 4.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero and red upholstery, the car features Nero Stellato stripes, 20″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a rear diffuser, active xenon headlights, carbon-ceramic brake rotors, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, rear parking sensors, carbon-fiber-backed seats, navigation, a vehicle lift system, a rearview camera, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The car was acquired by the current owner on BaT in November 2022, and subsequent work included the installation of a fabricated exhaust system, an integrated radar detector, carbon-fiber engine bay shields, and exterior paint protection film. This 458 Speciale is now offered on dealer consignment in Arizona with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a battery tender, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
The 458 was designed by Ferrari’s Donato Coco in collaboration with Pininfarina, and the Speciale trim added an active horizontal front-end flap to divert air under the car, spring-loaded doors to direct air from the radiators at high speeds, aero fins on the side skirts, a motor-actuated drag-reduction system at the rear end, and a revised rear diffuser with dual exhaust outlets.
This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and features Nero Stellato stripes as well as Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, adaptive xenon headlights, fog lights, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and LED taillights. The selling dealer tells us that paint protection film was applied to the entirety of the bodywork under current ownership. The rearview camera trim is cracked, and photos of imperfections on the front end are viewable in the gallery below.
The 20″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 245/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The car is equipped with magnetorheological dampers and a vehicle lift system, and braking is handled by red-finished Ferrari/Brembo calipers over cross-drilled carbon-ceramic rotors at all four corners. The Speciale received a retuned Side Slip Angle Control system compared with the 458 Italia as well as F1-Trac traction control.
Weight-saving measures on Speciale models included carbon-fiber door panels and dashboard trim as well as carbon-fiber seat frames. This example features carbon-fiber-backed seats upholstered in Nero Alcantara with red inserts, and additional features include navigation, a CD stereo, a fire extinguisher, aluminum pedals, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The controls for a retrofitted integrated radar detection system are located on the center console. Wear is noted on the flocking in the front storage compartment.
The multifunction steering wheel fronts column-mounted shift paddles and features LED shift indicator lights as well as a red engine-start button and an adjustable manettino that toggles among several traction control and vehicle settings. Instrumentation consists of a central tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline flanked by two configurable displays. The digital odometer indicates 17k miles, approximately 900 of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 4.5-liter V8 was reworked for the Speciale with revised pistons, a 14:1 compression ratio, a revised intake system and camshafts, and a carbon-fiber intake assembly. Factory-rated output was 605 horsepower and 398 lb-ft. Carbon-fiber engine bay shields and accents were fitted under current ownership. The selling dealer notes that the oil was changed within the last 1k miles.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and an electronic differential. The selling dealer tells us a fabricated exhaust system was installed under current ownership.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Miller Motorcars of Greenwich, Connecticut, along with factory colors, equipment, options, and a total suggested retail price of $343,402. Manufacturer’s literature, a battery tender, and the removed factory exhaust components and engine bay shields are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.
There is currently a lien on the car, and the current owner’s lender will need to be repaid before the title can be transferred to a new owner.
