This 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello is a left-hand-drive, Japanese-market model that was imported to the US in late-2025, following approximately £37k of service completed in the United Kingdom. The 5.5-liter F133A V12 is linked to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip rear differential, and the car is finished in Rosso Corsa over Beige Tradizione leather. Features include 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a gated shifter, a Blaupunkt Frankfurt cassette radio, and automatic climate control. Additional service and repairs totaling nearly $9k were completed in preparation for the sale. This 550 Maranello shows 53k kilometers (~33k miles) and is now offered by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, at no reserve in New York with recent records, a set of United Kingdom license plates, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Rosso Corsa, and the right-side Pininfarina badge was re-adhered in September 2025. The headlamp gaskets have been replaced, and the windshield wiper blades were changed in September 2025. Paint touch-ups were performed and corrosion was repaired on the trunk lid and rear-window surround at that time.
The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The car is equipped with an independent front and rear suspension with unequal-length wishbones and telescopic rear shock absorbers. The brake rotors and pads were replaced in September 2025, when the front cooling ducts were refurbished.
The cockpit features adjustable bucket seats trimmed in Beige Tradizione leather upholstery, while black leather covers the dashboard. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, a rear parcel shelf with leather straps, a Blaupunkt Frankfurt cassette radio, and automatic climate control. Work in September 2025 included repairing and refitting interior panels, replacing a blown fuse, and replacing air-conditioning system components.
The steering wheel shows imperfections, and it fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 220-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer alongside gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. An analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 53k kilometers (~33k miles).
The 5.5-liter F133A quad-cam V12 features Bosch Motronic engine management and dry-sump lubrication, and it was factory rated at 485 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. Nearly £37k in service was carried out in the United Kingdom starting in September 2024, with work that included fuel- and cooling-system work, tightening the cam-belt drive pulley, and powder coating the cam covers. Additional work, including an oil change, was carried out in preparation for the sale, and related invoices are shown in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The front underbody fairing was replaced in September 2025.
