This 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge is a factory-built race car that was designed to compete in the Ferrari Challenge racing series, where it was campaigned in the US in the early 2000s. The car was purchased by the seller sans engine in 2021, and subsequent refurbishment work involved outfitting a replacement 3.6-liter V8 and six-speed F1 sequential transaxle, as well as replacing the clutch, fuel pumps, and rotors. The interior Alcantara trim was also refreshed, while the Lexan windows were replaced throughout. The aluminum bodywork is finished in red, and equipment includes 18″ BBS Challenge wheels, Brembo disc brakes, quick-fill refueling valves, and a Setrab oil cooler. Inside, a pair of race seats are accompanied by Sabelt multi-point harnesses, a roll cage, a fire-suppression system, and a Magneti Marelli data logger. This 360 Modena Challenge race car is now offered on a bill of sale in Miami, Florida, with a spare set of wheels.
The aluminum Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Rosso Corsa, and the seller tells us that the Lexan windows were replaced under their ownership. Features include tow hooks, an ignition cut-off switch, hood and decklid retention pins, a Perspex engine cover, Premier Fuel Systems quick-fill refueling valves located on both C pillars, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear fascia.
Staggered-width 18” BBS Challenge wheels are finished in silver and wrapped in Michelin rain tires. The car is equipped with adjustable coilovers and a Bosch ABS system, while stopping power is provided by Brembo calipers acting upon slotted two-piece rotors at all four corners. The rotors and brake pads were replaced under current ownership.
The cockpit is protected by a bolt-in roll cage and houses a pair of racing seats trimmed in black cloth that are accompanied by Sabelt multi-point harnesses. The dash was reupholstered under current ownership in black Alcantara bound by red stitching, and carbon fiber adorns the instrument panel, center stack, center console, and door panels. A tank for the OMP fire-suppression system is installed in the passenger-side footwell, and the car is further equipped with a Magneti Marelli data logging system. The seller notes that the fuel cell has expired.
The flat-bottom steering wheel is trimmed in Alcantara with a red centering stripe and sits ahead of paddle shifters. The Magnetti Marelli LCD display features a sweeping bar-style tachometer as well as digital readouts for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and gear selection. The car is not equipped with an odometer, and mileage is unknown.
The 3.6-liter Tipo F131 V8 features five valves per cylinder, remapped engine management software, and stiffened engine mounts in Challenge specification. The seller notes that the engine was replaced in 2025, at which time the timing belts and tensioners, fuel pumps, and battery were also replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle, which the seller notes was installed along with the engine. The clutch, clutch release bearing, and gearbox mounts were also replaced. Challenge cars were specified with a Setrab transmission oil cooler.
A spare set of BBS Challenge wheels will accompany the car.
The Carfax report is free of any accidents or other reported damage. A mileage inconsistency is noted in a July 2016 entry.
The car is not legal for road use, has not been registered for the street, and carries no title or registration. It is being sold on a bill of sale.
