This 1992 Ferrari Mondial T cabriolet is finished in Nero over tan leather and is powered by a 3.4-liter F119G V8 mated to a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. It is fitted with a replacement black soft top and 16″ alloy wheels, and further equipment includes a gated shifter as well as air conditioning and a Kenwood CD stereo. The car spent time in Texas and California before being relocated Nevada, where it was acquired by the seller in 2019. Subsequent work has involved performing an engine-out timing belt service, replacing the clutch assembly, and repairing the speedometer. This Mondial T cabriolet is now offered at no reserve with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The Mondial was designed by Pininfarina, and the T model features body-color bumper covers as well as restyled side air intakes, door handles, and fenders when compared with earlier cars. This example is finished in Nero and features pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, black lower bodywork, and quadruple exhaust outlets. The black convertible top was replaced in March 2022. Blemishes in the bumper are presented in the gallery.
The 16″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with Pirelli Cinturato tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/55 out back. The car is equipped with power steering and an electronically controlled adjustable suspension, while braking is handled by four-wheel vented discs with an anti-lock system. A wheel was refinished in 2022 and the brake fluid was flushed in 2024.
The four-place cabin features seats upholstered in tan leather, which extends to the lower dash as well as the center console, door panels, and sills. A Kenwood CD stereo has been added, and further appointments include air conditioning, power windows, and three-point seatbelts. The driver’s seat was reupholstered in December 2016, and the window switch and door latch were replaced under current ownership. The driver-side roof lever strap is missing.
The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather and paired with a dogleg-pattern gated shifter. Veglia Borletti instrumentation consists of a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as a 180-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 30k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership. Speedometer repairs were carried out and the speed sensor at the transaxle was replaced in October 2024. The trip odometer does not reset, and the dash-mounted digital clock powers on but cannot be adjusted.
The longitudinally mounted 3.4-liter F119G V8 features two overhead camshafts per cylinder bank, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic 2.7 digital engine management. It was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out timing belt service was last completed in October 2020, and additional service under current ownership has involved rebuilding the alternator as well as replacing the crankshaft seal and exhaust gaskets. The latest engine oil change was in March 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch assembly was replaced in March 2024.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
