This 1979 Ferrari 308 GT4 was ordered new by Hollywood producer and Romancing the Stone star Michael Douglas through Trans World Motors of Goleta, California. The car was exported to Norway in 1995 and was acquired by the current owner’s father in 2005 before ownership passed to them in 2022. It is powered by a 2.9-liter DOHC V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car is finished in Argento Auteil Metallic over a black cloth and vinyl interior, and equipment includes quad Weber carburetors, 14″ Campagnolo wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a sunroof, retractable headlights, and air conditioning. This 308 GT4 is now offered on behalf of the owner in Norway with its original window sticker, documentation of original ownership, a toolkit, and Norwegian registration.

The 14″ Campagnolo five-spoke wheels were refinished in silver in 2015 and are mounted with 205/70VR14 Michelin XWX tires. The four-wheel independent suspension was overhauled in 1997. Stopping power is provided by ventilated disc brakes at each corner.

The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel features a Prancing Horse horn button and frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of an 85-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a tachometer with a 7,750-rpm redline. Gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and coolant temperature are also present. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 73k miles, about 1,500 of which were added under current ownership.

The transversely mounted 2.9-liter DOHC V8 was rebuilt in 1997 and is equipped with quad Weber 40 DCNF carburetors for a factory-rated output of 215 horsepower. The timing belt service was last performed in 2023, per the seller.
