This 1992 Ferrari 512 TR is one of 408 examples delivered to North America between 1992 and 1994, and it has been fitted with a Tubi Style exhaust system and power-assisted steering. It is powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather upholstery. The car shows 27k miles and is further equipped with a limited-slip differential, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, power windows, a Sony stereo, a Momo steering wheel, and a gated shifter. This 512 TR was purchased by the owner in 2022 and is now offered in New Jersey on dealer consignment with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The Pininfarina-designed 512 TR was introduced as the updated successor to the Testarossa in 1991, with revisions that included restyled bumper covers as well as revised wheels and lighting. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and has pop-up headlights, fog lights, side intake strakes, body-color rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets. Paint protection film has been applied to the exterior, per the seller.
Silver-finished 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs, and the car has been fitted with power-assisted steering.
The cockpit is trimmed in beige leather upholstery over the seats, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior appointments include a Sony stereo, motorized seat belts, and a gated shifter located on the center console alongside controls for the power windows.
The three-spoke Momo steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 27k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The steering wheel lever set was replaced with a used set in February 2025.
The 4.9-liter DOHC flat-12 received updates over the version used in the Testarossa including Nikasil cylinder liners, a redesigned intake system, and Bosch engine management. Output was rated at 421 horsepower and 362 lb-ft of torque when new. According to the seller, the wiring was repaired, and the starter was rebuilt in 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Tubi Style exhaust system has been installed.
