This 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider is powered by a 4.3-liter DOHC V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Grigio Silverstone over red leather. The car is equipped with a gated shifter, carbon-fiber interior trim, a Nero soft top, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, 19″ split-spoke wheels, and a Sony stereo hooked to a Kicker amplifier. The current owner purchased the car in 2015 and has since added approximately 22k of the 38k indicated miles. This F430 is now offered in California on dealer consignment by a BaT Local Partner with a car cover, two keys, tools, a damage-free Carfax report, and a Texas title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Grigio Silverstone (740) with a power-retractable Nero soft top and Scuderia Ferrari fender shields. Other exterior features include xenon headlights, quad exhaust tips, and carbon-fiber door handles and engine lid trim. Clear paint protection film covers the front section of the nose and mirror caps. The front spoiler and convertible top cover panel have blemishes.
Silver-finished 19″ split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Continental tires. Stopping is handled by yellow-finished brake calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors.
Red leather trims the power-adjustable bucket seats, center console, and door panels, while gray carpets line the floors. The dashboard is accented with black leather and carbon fiber, and further equipment includes a gated shifter, carbon-fiber trim, drilled aluminum pedals, and a Bluetooth-capable Sony stereo hooked to a front trunk-mounted Kicker amplifier. The left door has some loose leather upholstery, and a defroster trim piece is broken on the dash.
The leather-trimmed carbon-fiber steering wheel is equipped with an engine-start button as well as a manettino dial for control of dynamic settings. Instrumentation includes a central yellow tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a 220-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 38k miles, approximately 22k of which were added during current ownership.
The mid-mounted 4.3-liter F136 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and a dry-sump lubrication system. Factory-rated output was 483 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Aftermarket mufflers have been fitted.
