This illuminated Ferrari Dino Service sign and clock measures approximately 24.75″ across and is housed within a brown composite faux-wood frame. Details include a translucent face, fluorescent illumination, an analog clock offset to the left, and 220-volt wiring with a 120-volt converter. This Ferrari Dino sign was acquired by the selling dealer in 2021, and it is now offered at no reserve in Salem, Oregon, with a 120-volt converter.
The name Dino honors Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari’s late son, Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari, credited with designing the V6 engine used in the car. The Dino V6 first appeared in late 1956, powering a front-engine Formula Two racecar. The Dino script on the car, produced between 1968 and 1974, was based on Alfredo’s own signature.
The single-sided sign features a translucent yellow panel displaying a blue Dino logo, a blue and white border, and red Ferrari and Service lettering. An analog clock is offset to the left. The plastic frame is finished in brown with faux-woodgrain details. The piece measures approximately 24.75″ wide by 9.25″ tall by 4.25″ deep, and weighs about 7 pounds. The selling dealer notes wear consistent with use, which is discussed in the video.
Illumination is provided by internal fluorescent bulbs.
The brown plastic housing has assorted hanging provisions on the back along with molded-in feet for setoff from the wall. The piece can also be displayed freestanding. A power cord exits the back with a three-prong European-style wall plug. A 110-volt converter is included and shown in the gallery.
