This 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider is a 70th Anniversary car that was specified through Ferrari’s Tailor Made program with over $159k in options. It is finished in Blu Tour de France over tan Camoscio and Blue Sterling leather along with gray woven upholstery. Appointments included Argento Nurburgring-finished 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels, a suspension lift system, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, a JBL sound system, and Argento Nurburgring interior trim. First delivered to Boardwalk Ferrari in Plano, Texas, the car has 3,800 miles and has spent most of its time registered in Texas and Florida. Power is from a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch automatic transaxle. Additional equipment includes ceramic-composite brakes, an SCM-E magnetorheological damping system, a retractable hardtop, parking sensors, power-adjustable seats, a back-up camera, and navigation. This 488 Spider is now offered by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a window sticker, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Blu Tour de France and features a retractable hardtop, adaptive xenon headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, rear parking sensors, and a vented deck lid. A teal-tinted carbon-fiber front lip, rear diffuser, and side skirts accent the body.
The Argento Nurburgring-finished 20″ split-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires. The car is equipped with an SCM-E magnetorheological suspension control system as well as a suspension lift system. Braking is provided by silver-finished multi-piston calipers over ceramic-composite discs at each corner.
The power-adjustable seats feature embroidered Cavallino logos on the headrests and are trimmed in tan Camoscio leather, which extends to portions of the dash, center console, and door panels. Blue Sterling leather and gray woven upholstery also adorn the cabin, and interior features include Argento Nurburgring trim, a passenger-side digital display, blue seat belts, driver-seat position memory, a JBL sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, a back-up camera, and cruise control.
A serialized, “tailor made collection” plaque is stationed on the rear bulkhead, and it notes that the car’s specification was “inspired by” the 1950 Ferrari 166 MM Touring Barchetta.
The leather-trimmed steering wheel sits ahead of column-mounted carbon-fiber paddle shifters and features an engine-start button, a manettino driving-mode selector, and shift lights. Instrumentation consists of a central 10k-rpm tachometer flanked by multifunction displays. The digital odometer indicates 3,800 miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 was factory rated at 661 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch automatic transaxle.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Boardwalk Ferrari in Plano, Texas, as well as factory equipment, colors, and a total suggested retail price of $443,705.
