This 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider is finished in red over black leather and is powered by a 3.5-liter V8 linked to a six-speed manual transaxle with a gated shifter. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, pop-up headlights, 18″ magnesium wheels, automatic climate control, and an aftermarket stereo, amplifier, and speakers. The car was acquired by the current owner on BaT in October 2022, and it received over $32k in work in preparation for the sale, including an engine-out timing belt service. This F355 shows 8k miles and is offered on dealer consignment in California with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, a car cover, recent service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title.
The car left the factory finished in Rosso Corsa and is believed to have been repainted under previous ownership. Exterior features include a power-operated black convertible top, pop-up headlights, fog lights, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. Touch-ups were performed in 2021, and paintless dent removal was carried out in 2022. The convertible top was serviced in August 2026.
The 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner. A rebuilt power steering rack was installed in 2021.
The seats are trimmed in Black Connolly leather, and interior features include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, and drilled aluminum pedals. A Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo has been installed, along with a Nakamichi amplifier and aftermarket speakers. The selling dealer notes that sticky buttons have been refinished. Shrinkage is noted in the dashboard leather, and the air conditioning vents do not sit flush.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Over $32k in work in preparation for the sale included performing an engine-out timing belt service, rebuilding the water pump, calibrating the fuel injectors, installing factory exhaust components, replacing the spark plugs, and changing various fluids.
