This 1998 Ferrari F355 Spider was purchased by the seller as it received an engine-out belt service at Ferrari of Washington in Sterling, Virginia, in March 2024, and it now shows 19k miles. Finished in Rosso Corsa over Tan Connolly leather, the convertible is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment comprises a gated shifter, a Tubi Style exhaust, a black soft top, 18″ magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, and a cassette stereo hooked to a CD changer. Other work performed during the belt service included rebuilding the steering rack, changing fluids, and replacing the camshaft seals, valve cover gaskets, coolant hoses, spark plugs, and tires. This F355 Spider is now offered in California with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, March 2024 service records, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa, and styling elements include a power-operated black convertible top as well as pop-up headlights, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels.

Silver-finished 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels were mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in March 2024. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner. The steering rack was rebuilt in March 2024.

The Tan Connolly leather interior features sport seats, a gated shifter, automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo hooked to a six-disc CD changer. The seller notes that sticky buttons have been refinished, and the air-conditioning system refrigerant was recharged in March 2024.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out belt service was last completed in March 2024, at which time the camshaft seals, valve cover gaskets, coolant hoses, spark plugs, and various gaskets and seals were also replaced.

Photos and records documenting the belt service are viewable in the gallery below.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The gearbox shift shaft seal was replaced, and the fluid was changed during the engine-out service in March 2024. A Tubi Style stainless-steel cat-back exhaust system is installed.

The window sticker notes initial delivery to Ferrari of Washington in Sterling, Virginia, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $138,115. Manufacturer’s literature, tools, accessories, two sets of keys, and the removed factory exhaust components will also accompany the car.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The car has not undergone a California emissions test.
