This 1990 Ferrari 348 TS was acquired by the current owner on BaT in September 2021, and subsequent work involved reupholstering the seats in beige leather and fitting a Capristo FreeFlow exhaust system. The car now shows 28k miles and is powered by a mid-mounted 3.4-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Finished in Rosso Corsa with a black removable roof panel, additional equipment includes a gated shifter, air conditioning, a Pioneer head unit, and 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels. This 348 TS is offered by the seller on behalf of his wife with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a leather-bound tool kit, removed exhaust components, a clean Carfax report, and an Illinois title in the seller’s wife’s name.

The 348 was the final V8-powered Ferrari model developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari, and its design was overseen by Pininfarina chief stylist Leonardo Fioravanti. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and features a black removable roof panel along with a matching tail light grille and lower bodywork. Additional exterior equipment includes pop-up headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, and quad exhaust tips. Chips in the front bumper and spoiler are visible, and the paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below. The seller reports that a ceramic coating was applied to the body in 2021.

Staggered-width 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels feature yellow prancing horse center caps and are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact DW Turbo tires. The car is equipped with Ferrari-branded calipers over ventilated discs at all four corners.

The front seats were reupholstered under current ownership with beige leather. Equipment includes a dogleg-pattern gated shifter, air conditioning, a hidden Pioneer head unit with Bluetooth capability, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. Sticky interior switchgear is said to have been addressed in 2014, the automated seat belt retraction system does not work, and the seatbelt light is illuminated. Wear on touch surfaces and a crack in the trim by the shifter are shown in the gallery below.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. Auxiliary gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 28k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added by the seller.

The 3.4-liter quad-cam Tipo F119 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 296 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Service under current ownership is said to include replacing the timing belt, tensioner, pulleys, water pump, spark plugs, and fuel filter in September 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Capristo FreeFlow exhaust system with cat-delete race pipes was installed in January 2022, the removed exhaust components are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
The Illinois title carries a “Mileage Not Required” notation under the Legend(s) section.
