This 1999 Ferrari F355 F1 Spider shows 18k miles following registration history in Florida. The car is finished in Modena Yellow over black Connolly leather, and it is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a paddle-shifted six-speed F1 gearbox. Equipment includes a black soft top, 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, a Challenge-style rear grille, automatic climate control, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and drilled aluminum pedals. This F355 Spider is now offered by the selling dealer in Illinois with an award, owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean Florida title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Modena Yellow, and styling elements include a power-operated black convertible top as well as pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, fender shields, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, a Challenge-style rear grille, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. The Carfax report indicates that a November 2012 accident involving another vehicle resulted in “minor” damage to the right side. The convertible top lifter was repaired in January 2024.
The 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels are mounted with Michelin tires. Ferrari-branded red-finished brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner. The brake pump was replaced in 2023.
The cabin features sport seats trimmed in black Connolly leather, and matching leather extends to the center console, door panel inserts, and lower half of the dashboard. Amenities include automatic climate control, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and drilled aluminum pedals. The selling dealer notes that sticky buttons have been refinished.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, a gauge for coolant temperature, and a digital gear indicator. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs were replaced in June 2024.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via an electrohydraulically operated six-speed F1 gearbox. The shift actuator was rebuilt in June 2024.
