This 1999 Ferrari 355 F1 Spider shows 18k miles following the current owner’s purchase in 2020, and it is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a paddle-shifted six-speed F1 gearbox. Finished in Rosso Corsa over tan Connolly leather, the car is equipped with a tan soft top, Tubi-Style Competizione exhaust manifolds, 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, a cassette stereo, and air conditioning. Work performed under current ownership has included replacing the timing belt and clutch. The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa, and styling incorporates a power-operated tan convertible top as well as pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. Silver 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that have 2019 and 2020 date codes. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner.

The cabin features sport seats trimmed in tan Connolly leather, and matching leather extends to the center console, door panel inserts, and lower half of the dashboard. Amenities include automatic climate control, a cassette stereo, and drilled aluminum pedals. Sticky buttons were refinished in 2020.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, a gauge for coolant temperature, and a digital gear indicator. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out timing belt service is said to have been completed in December 2020, and Tubi-Style Competizione exhaust manifolds, a high-flow catalytic converter, and a Capristo bypass valve have been added.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through an electrohydraulically operated six-speed F1 gearbox. The clutch was replaced in 2020, at which time an updated release bearing was installed.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage. The car failed its most recent Maryland emissions inspection in September 2022.
