This 3.5-liter Tipo F129C V8 was manufactured by Ferrari for use in a 1998-1999 F355 and was removed from a car some time prior to the seller acquiring it around five years ago. The engine has been partially disassembled and features dual overhead camshafts on each bank, five valves per cylinder, Nikasil-coated cylinder liners, and an aluminum block and cylinder heads. This 3.5-liter Ferrari V8 project is now offered at no reserve in Gaylordsville, Connecticut.
The 3,49cc F129C features belt-driven dual overhead camshafts on each bank operating five valves per cylinder. The F355 was the first Ferrari street car with a five valve per cylinder engine. Induction components are among the parts missing from the engine.
Additional photos of internal components are included in the gallery.
