This 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena is a German-market example that underwent a conversion by Koenig Specials in Munich in 2003 that involved modification of the 3.6-liter F131 V8 with upgraded pistons, twin KKK turbochargers, and dual intercoolers as well as installation of a custom roof intake, plexiglass engine cover, decklid, and rear grille. Further highlights of the build included the addition of center-locking hubs, upgraded front brakes, Sparco carbon-backed bucket seats, and a fire-suppression system. The car was later relocated to Italy in 2006 and fitted with an N-GT–style body kit before undergoing a repaint in Viola Hong Kong and a timing-belt service by Scuderia Baldini & Co. as well as an interior re-trim in purple Alcantara in 2024. Shifting is through a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle linked with a limited-slip differential, and additional details include a 360 Challenge–spec clutch assembly, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, and 19″ BBS wheels. Acquired by the selling dealer in Rome, Italy, in 2024, this modified 360 Modena now shows 48k kilometers (~30k miles) and is offered with a plaque from Koenig Specials, build records, a tool kit, and Italian registration documents.

After commissioning bodywork and performance modifications for his own Ferrari 365 BB in the mid-1970s, Willy König founded Koenig-Specials in 1977 as a provider of similar conversions for a range of Ferrari models and other high-end marques. In addition to aerodynamically oriented body kits, the company offered a variety of chassis modifications and engine tuning packages.
