This European-market 1985 Ferrari 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole spent time in Germany before being imported to the US circa 1987 and federalized in 1990, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2003. The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam V8 received a timing belt service at ~36k miles in 2020, and shifting is through a five-speed manual transaxle with a dogleg shift pattern. Finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero leather upholstery with red piping, the car has been fitted with a Quicksilver exhaust system and a Bluetooth-capable Alpine stereo. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, a quad-exit exhaust system, R134a-based air conditioning, a gated shifter, and electric windows. This 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole is offered on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with the owner’s manual, service records dating back to 2003, spare parts, the removed factory exhaust system and shift knob, a clean Carfax report, and a Colorado title.

The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation, including a tachometer with a 7,700-rpm redline and supplementary gauges. Additional readouts are mounted ahead of the shifter. The 180-mph speedometer was installed at some point after the car was imported to the US, and its odometer shows 38k miles, approximately 17k of which were added under current ownership. A turn signal lens on the cluster is scratched.

The mid-mounted 2.9L quad-cam F105A V8 was rated at approximately 255 horsepower and featured a 9.2:1 compression ratio in European-market specification. A timing belt service was completed in 2020, ~2k miles ago, at which time the water pump and drive belts were replaced. Aerospace-grade Scuderia Rampante fuel, coolant, and oil hoses have been installed, and an updated fuse box was fitted in 2022. The selling dealer notes that the fuel gauge does not function until approximately four minutes after startup and also reports a ticking sound that subsides as the engine warms, which was attributed to the drive belts by Scuderia Rampante.
