This go-kart is one of three examples constructed by the CyclekART Company of Biburg, Germany, utilizing Ferrari P4-style fiberglass bodywork created by mini-car builder Guy Chappaz. It is powered by a 200cc OHV single paired with an automatic gearbox, and the kart is further equipped with 10″ wheels, covered headlights, opening doors, a removable roof panel, cross-drilled disc brakes, plastic windows, a three-spoke steering wheel, a gated shifter, an electric starter, coil-over suspension, aluminum interior trim, and an aluminum fuel tank, a quad-exit exhaust, and red seat belts. This P4-style go-kart is now offered by the seller in Bourbon, Missouri, on a bill of sale.

Ferrari introduced the P4 for the 1967 sports car season, with a shorter chassis than the preceding P3, along with updated suspension and a redesigned V12 by Franco Rocchi. A notable result was Ferrari’s 1-2-3 finish at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Guy Chappaz created various small-scale versions of road and race cars, and the red fiberglass bodywork on this example is said to be a 70% scale version of the original P4. Features include front and rear windows, removable front and rear body panels and a removable roof panel, opening doors, covered headlights, taillights, air vents, and a painted “Prova MO-53” rear license plate number.

Gold-finished four-lug steel wheels with faux spokes and silver knock-off spinners are wrapped in 195/50B10 NaRubb bias-ply tires up front and 20×10-10 Sunf tires at the rear. “Avon” is painted onto the tire walls, and one of the rear tires is mounted backward. Additional equipment includes dual cross-drilled disc brakes mounted on the rear axle and coil-over suspension.

The removable roof panel and opening doors provide access to the cockpit, which houses a single bucket seat and a three-spoke steering wheel on a quick-release hub. Additional equipment includes a floor-mounted choke lever, red seat belts, and a handbrake. Aluminum panels line the doors and sills, and white protective film covers the aluminum floor covering.

The dash panel houses a centrally mounted tachometer, a starter key, and a push-button and toggle switches for exterior lights. Per the seller, the cockpit is suitable for drivers up to around 5′ tall.

Drilled foot pedals are fitted ahead of the driver, and a shift gate surrounds a shifter topped with a wood knob.

The 200cc OHV four-stroke single is said to be rated at 6.5 horsepower and is fitted with a performance air filter and an electric starter. Power is sent to the chain-drive rear axle via an automatic gearbox with neutral and reverse. An extended tube connects to the fabricated quad exhaust outlets. An aluminum fuel tank is positioned on the left side, secured via a leather strap.

A stamped Cyclekart Company plate is riveted to the bodywork and shows the kart to be the 3rd of 3 Guy Chappaz editions produced.
