This 1:8 scale model of a Ferrari Daytona SP3 is one of 199 examples produced by Amalgam. The model is constructed of resin and is finished in red over a blue interior. Details include a wraparound windshield, double-crested front wings, mirrors mounted atop the front fenders, and horizontal fins at the rear of the car. Amalgam used digital scans of a Daytona SP3 to render details at scale, and the model was handcrafted using paint codes and material specifications from Ferrari. This Daytona SP3 scale model is offered by a BaT Local Partner at no reserve in Houston, Texas.
The Daytona SP3 was the second car to join Ferrari’s ‘Icona’ series to commemorate the 1-2-3 result in the 24 Hours of Daytona race in 1967. This 1:8 scale model features resin body panels finished in red with a blue-and-silver stripe. Ferrari badging, carbon-fiber-pattern accents, and windshield wiper arms are among the details rendered at scale.
Silver five-spoke wheels are fitted with yellow prancing-horse center caps and wrapped in faux Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Ducts send air to the Brembo-branded calipers and simulated carbon ceramic rotors.
The interior features blue chassis-integrated seats, an instrument cluster, a three-spoke steering wheel, and controls. The seats are equipped with faux belts.
A simulated F140HC 6.5-liter V12 is visible through the rear bodywork. The model is attached to a display base with a plaque.
