This 2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello shows 13k miles and received over $21k of work in early 2026, which involved a timing belt service, compression and leak-down tests, and replacement of the crankshaft position sensors, camshaft drive bearings, camshaft cover gaskets, and more as detailed below. Power is provided by a 5.5-liter F133A V12 linked to a six-speed manual transaxle. The power-adjustable Daytona-style seats are trimmed in red leather with black accents and Cavallino Rampante logos on the headrests, and the car is further equipped with a limited-slip differential, Grigio Titanio paintwork, a central hood scoop, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a gated shifter, rear luggage straps, and automatic climate control. Purchased by the current owner in 2009, this 550 Maranello is offered in California on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with the owner’s manual, service records, a tool kit, a battery tender, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a Maryland title.
The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Grigio Titanio, and the car is equipped with fog lights, a crosshatch grille with a central Cavallino Rampante badge, a central hood scoop, power-operated heated side mirrors, and a quad-exit exhaust.
The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels wear yellow prancing horse center caps and were mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in September 2024. The car is equipped with an independent front and rear suspension with unequal-length wishbones and telescopic rear shock absorbers, and stopping power is provided by cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. The front shock actuators were rebuilt in September 2025, and the brake fluid was changed most recently in early 2026.
The power-adjustable Daytona-style seats are trimmed in red leather with black accents and Cavallino Rampante logos on the headrests, and the driver is presented with a gated shifter. Black leather covers the upper portion of the dashboard, and additional appointments include a rear parcel shelf with leather straps, drilled aluminum pedals, and automatic climate control. The left door sill has an imperfection.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 220-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer alongside gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. An analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 13k miles.
The 5.5-liter F133A quad-cam V12 features Bosch Motronic engine management and dry-sump lubrication, and it was factory rated at 485 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. A phase sensor, the thermostat, spark plugs, and engine mounts were replaced during a major service in January 2023 and records indicate that the fuel tank was repaired in 2024. The timing belts and tensioner bearings were replaced as part of a major service completed in early 2026 by GP Autoworks of San Marcos, California. Work also involved replacing the camshaft drive bearings, O-rings, and seals along with the crankshaft position sensors, intake manifold gaskets, and fluids. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Replacement donor rear mufflers were installed in February 2025.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The car has not passed a California emissions inspection.
