This 1988 Ferrari GTB Turbo is one of 308 examples produced between 1986 and 1989 to avoid duties on vehicles displacing more than 2.0 liters. The car was imported into the US and Federalized when new, and it was later relocated to Thailand, but it has since returned and has recently resided in New York. Showing 18k kilometers (~11k miles), it is finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero leather, and it is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter V8 linked with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A stainless-steel exhaust system has been added, and other equipment includes concave 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, a gated shifter, power windows, and air conditioning. The turbocharger was rebuilt and the spark plugs were replaced in preparation for the sale. This GTB Turbo is now offered by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with records, a Vehicle Identification Certification from the New York DMV, a clean Carfax report, and a New York title.

The GTB Turbo and its removable-roof counterpart, the GTS Turbo, were launched as turbocharged 2.0-liter variants of the 328 GTS for the Italian market in 1986 to avoid duties on vehicles displacing over 2.0 liters.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa (300) and features pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, a driver-side mirror, a power antenna, a black spoiler mounted over the rear window, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. Photographs of paint-meter readings are shown in the gallery below.

Staggered-width concave 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires with 2020 date codes. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs. The brake fluid was flushed in June 2026.

The bucket seats are trimmed in Nero leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior amenities include power windows, air conditioning, and a rear-window defroster. The selling dealer notes the headliner shows powder that was used in a blessing performed before the car was sent to Thailand.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel is paired with a dogleg-pattern gated shifter and frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 280-km/h speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for boost pressure, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. Gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 18k kilometers (~11k miles), approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 2.0-liter Type F106N V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and an IHI turbocharger. Factory-rated output was 254 horsepower and 242 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service with replacement of related components was completed in May 2021, and the starter and battery were also replaced at this time. A custom billet wastegate was installed in August 2024. The turbocharger was rebuilt, the spark plugs were replaced, and the oil was changed in June 2026. The car is equipped with a custom-fabricated, stainless-steel exhaust system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage.
The New York title states “Exempt: Vehicle over 10 years old” in the Odometer Reading section.
