This 1998 Ferrari F355 Spider is a European-market example that was imported to the US in 2000 and federalized by JK Technologies of Baltimore, Maryland. It is finished in Modena Yellow over black leather and is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked to a six-speed manual transaxle with a gated shifter. Features include a modified exhaust system, HIRO Performance adjustable dampers, and aftermarket headlights and taillights as well as a Challenge-style rear grille, carbon-fiber interior trim, and a Pioneer stereo with a flip-up display. A limited-slip differential, a black convertible top, and 18″ magnesium wheels are additional details. The car was sold on BaT in August 2021 and was acquired by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, in 2026. This F355 Spider shows 43k miles and is offered at no reserve in New York with a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title.
The car features Pininfarina-designed bodywork finished in Modena Yellow, along with a black convertible top and a Challenge-style rear grille. Styling incorporates pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. Paintwork was performed on the front bumper cover, left lower door sill, right door, and right quarter panel under previous ownership. The convertible top has been converted to a semi-power-operated setup, and the seller notes that Morimoto headlights, turn signals, and taillights have been installed. The 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tires. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner. Appointed with black Connolly leather and carbon-fiber trim, the cabin features a gated shifter, automatic climate control, and drilled aluminum pedals. A Pioneer stereo with a flip-up display has been installed along with a Hill Engineering shift knob. The dash vent covers and floor mats were replaced, and the emergency brake lever and instrument cluster binnacle were reupholstered following the 2021 BaT auction. The air conditioning system is said to have been recently overhauled, and the system was recharged in June 2026.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 43k miles, a handful of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication for a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. The car is said to be modified with a Fabspeed exhaust valve and headers as well as HyperFlow catalytic converters and a Tubi Style muffler. An oil change was performed in June 2026, at which time the engine mounts were replaced.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch assembly, release bearing, and axles were replaced in 2022. The transmission mounts were replaced in June 2026. The undertrays are said to have been replaced since the 2021 BaT auction.
