This 1992 Ferrari 512 TR is one of 408 examples delivered to North America between 1992 and 1994, and it shows 23k miles through the current owner’s purchase in 2007. It is powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, an aftermarket exhaust system, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, a JBL sound system, a Sony CD stereo, power windows, and a gated shifter. This 512 TR is now offered on dealer consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with the owner’s manual, a tool kit, a battery tender, a car cover, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The Pininfarina-designed 512 TR was introduced as the updated successor to the Testarossa in 1991, with revisions that included restyled bumper covers as well as revised wheels and lighting. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa and has pop-up headlights, fog lights, side intake strakes, body-color rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets.
Silver-finished 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Continental tires. Braking is handled by red-finished calipers over four-wheel ventilated and cross-drilled discs.
The cockpit is trimmed in beige leather upholstery over the seats, door panels, and lower dashboard. Interior appointments include motorized seat belts, a JBL sound system, a fire extinguisher, a Sony CD stereo, and a gated shifter located on the center console alongside controls for the air conditioning and power windows.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 23k miles.
The 4.9-liter DOHC flat-12 received updates over the version used in the Testarossa including Nikasil cylinder liners, a redesigned intake system, and Bosch engine management. Output was rated at 421 horsepower and 362 lb-ft of torque when new. The car last passed an emissions inspection in July 2026.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket exhaust system has been fitted.
