This Snap-on toolbox was part of the set dressing in the glass pavilion garage that appeared in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. The rolling trolley and upper box were gifted to the owners of the house, Fran and Ben Rose, following production of the 1986 film. In August 1989, the Rose family gave the toolbox to David Cooper, who was restoring a 1937 Frazer Nash-BMW 328 for the family. Cooper used the Snap-on toolbox in his restoration workshops from 1989 through 2025. The seller acquired it from Cooper in 2025, and it is now offered at no reserve in Des Moines, Iowa.
