1997 Ferrari F355 GTS 6-Speed

This 1997 Ferrari F355 GTS is a Canadian-market example that shows 80k kilometers (~50k miles) following registration and service history in Ontario, Montana, and Tennessee, as well as a sale on BaT in August 2024. Finished in Modena Yellow over black Connolly leather, the car is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V8 linked with a gated six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Features include Tubi Style headers, a Capristo exhaust system, a removable black targa top, 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels, pop-up headlights, a Challenge-style rear grille, a rearview camera, a Continental digital-media stereo, and automatic climate control. An engine-out belt service was carried out in 2023, and subsequent work has involved repainting portions of the exterior as well as replacing the clutch, flywheel, starter, and more. Recently acquired by Foreign Affairs Motorsport, a BaT Local Partner in Florida, this F355 GTS is offered with owner’s manuals, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Modena Yellow, and the bumper covers and quarter panels were repainted in preparation for the sale. Exterior details include a removable black roof panel, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, flying-buttress C-pillars, an integrated rear spoiler, a rearview camera, a Challenge-style rear grille, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. There is bubbled paint at the base of the right-side mirror housing, and photos provided in the gallery below show other areas with chipped and bubbled paint.

Five-spoke 18″ magnesium wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires produced in 2023. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs, and the brake and power-steering fluids were reportedly flushed in March 2023.

The sport seats are upholstered in black Connolly leather that extends to the lower dashboard, center console, and door-panel inserts. Additional appointments include a gated shifter, automatic climate control, a Bluetooth-equipped Continental stereo, drilled aluminum pedals, and carbon-fiber sill guards that have some scratches. The roof-panel headliner has some indentations. The air-conditioning refrigerant was recharged in March 2025.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 320-km/h speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. An analog clock and additional instruments for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 80k kilometers (~50k miles), approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. It features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication, and Tubi Style headers and a Capristo cat-back exhaust system have been fitted. An engine-out belt service was completed in March 2023, and additional work at that time included resurfacing the cylinder heads, repainting the valve covers, changing the fluids, and replacing the cylinder-head and valve-cover gaskets. In October 2024, the starter and an exhaust-manifold gasket were replaced. The following March, the thermostat, ignition wires, engine mounts, and accessory belts were replaced, along with one or more camshaft seals and valve-cover gaskets. The most recent oil change was carried out in May 2026.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A replacement clutch and flywheel were installed in September 2024.
