This 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 is one of 1,284 Berlinetta coupes produced between 1968 and 1973. Initially delivered in the US, chassis 15168 was exported to New Zealand by its previous owner, who retained stewardship for approximately two decades before the selling dealer’s recent purchase. Finished in red over black leather, the car is powered by a 4.4-liter Colombo V12 that breathes through six Weber carburetors and is mated to a rear-mounted five-speed manual transaxle. It rides on 15” Cromodora alloy wheels and is further equipped with servo-assisted ventilated disc brakes, four-wheel independent suspension, power windows, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer stereo. The 365 GTB/4 debuted at the 1968 Paris Auto Salon with styling penned by Pininfarina’s Leonardo Fioravanti featuring a raked fastback profile and a Kamm tail. Scaglietti-built bodywork incorporates a steel shell with aluminum hood, trunk, and door panels riding on a steel-tube chassis with a fiberglass inner tub. The model’s early covered-headlight design was replaced by a revised fascia with pop-up headlights in 1971.
