This 2000 Ferrari 456M GTA spent over a decade in California through the current owner’s acquisition on BaT in April 2024. Finished in Argento Nürburgring over Bordeaux Connolly leather, the car is powered by a 5.5-liter F116 V12 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes self-adjusting dampers, antilock disc brakes, 17″ five-spoke wheels, pop-up headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, and a CD stereo. Service in 2025 included changing the oil and replacing the timing belts, fuel filter, serpentine belt, spark plugs, rear shocks, and tires. This 456M GTA has 21k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment, through a BaT Local Partner, with spare parts, owner’s and service manuals, a tool kit, a tire inflation kit, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The Pininfarina-designed aluminum and composite bodywork is finished in Argento Nürburgring. The modificata models featured a revised grille with inset fog lights, and additional appointments include pop-up headlights, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, and polished quadruple exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. Silver-finished 17″ five-spoke wheels wear prancing-horse center caps and were mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires in 2025. Self-adjusting dampers and self-leveling rear suspension were standard equipment, and the rear shocks were replaced under current ownership. Stopping power is provided by black Ferrari-branded four-piston calipers over a ventilated rotor at each corner, and the brake fluid was recently flushed.
The power-adjustable front bucket seats and contoured rear bench are trimmed in Bordeaux Connolly leather upholstery that extends to the lower dashboard, center console, and door panels. Appointments include automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, and a CD stereo linked to a trunk-mounted six-disc changer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 220-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. An analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 21k miles. The Carfax report notes a mileage inconsistency in May 2024, and goes on to describe that the entry may be the result of a clerical error.
The 5.5-liter F116 V12 was factory rated at 436 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque and features four valves per cylinder, Bosch Motronic fuel injection, and dry-sump lubrication. A timing belt service was peformed in March 2025, and the fuel filter, serpentine belt, and spark plugs were replaced at that time. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in May 2024.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle.
The Carfax report is free of accidents and other reported damage. The aforementioned mileage inconsistency is noted in May 2024.
