This 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello was purchased by the current owner in 2019, and a ~$12k service completed in 2025 included replacing the timing belts, drive belts, fuel pumps, and tires. Showing 33k miles, the car is powered by a 5.5-liter F133A V12 linked to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential and is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige Tradizione leather upholstery. Features include a central hood scoop, 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a gated shifter, an aftermarket stereo, and automatic climate control. This 550 Maranello is offered in Connecticut on dealer consignment with a Carfax report and an Washington state title.
The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is finished in Rosso Corsa, and the car is equipped with fog lights, a crosshatch grille with a central Cavallino Rampante badge, a central hood scoop, power-operated heated side mirrors, and a quad-exit exhaust. The seller notes peeling windshield trim and paint chips. A July 2010 entry on the Carfax report lists a rear-end collision that resulted in damage to the rear.
The 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels wear yellow prancing horse center caps and are fitted with Continental ExtremeContact tires that were mounted in December 2025. The car is equipped with an independent front and rear suspension with unequal-length wishbones and telescopic rear shock absorbers, and stopping power is provided by cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at all four corners. The brake fluid was flushed in 2025.
The cockpit features adjustable bucket seats trimmed in beige Tradizione leather upholstery, which extends to the console, lower dashboard, and door panels. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, a rear parcel shelf with leather straps, automatic climate control, and an aftermarket stereo linked to a McIntosh amplifier and remote CD changer. The passenger side sun visor was reupholstered and the trunk struts were replaced in 2025. Interior imperfections include blemishes in the dashboard upholstery, bubbling around the airbag cover, and wear and an area of discoloration on the driver’s seat.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a Jaeger gauge cluster with a 220-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer alongside gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. An analog clock and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are located atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 33k miles, approximately 2,200 of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.5-liter F133A quad-cam V12 features Bosch Motronic engine management and dry-sump lubrication, and it was factory rated at 485 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was completed in December 2025, at which time the fuel pumps, drive belts, camshaft cover gasket, camshaft seals, hood struts, and battery were replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Tubi-style exhaust compoents have been installed.
