This 1975 Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 was registered to its previous owner in Pennsylvania for approximately 15 years until the selling dealer’s recent acquisition, and it is powered by a 2.9-liter V8 that was rebuilt in 2021-22. Additional recent work has included rebuilding the distributors, repairing the radiator and dashboard, and replacing the tires, muffler, wiper assembly, and more. Finished in red over black leather upholstery, the car is equipped with a five-speed manual transaxle, a limited-slip differential, 14″ Cromodora wheels, retractable headlights, quad Weber carburetors, an Alpine cassette stereo, power windows, and a gated shifter. The Bertone-designed bodywork received a repaint in red under prior ownership. Exterior details include retractable headlights, impact bumpers, Dino and Ferrari badging, and quad exhaust outlets. Work since 2021 has included installing replacement side mirrors along with replacing the wiper assembly, trunk-support hardware, and brake- and tail-light bulbs.

Cromodora 14″ alloy wheels feature Dino center caps and were mounted with 205/70 Michelin XWX tires in preparation for the sale. Photos of the new tires are provided at the end of the gallery. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs, with service in 2022 involving rebuilding the left-rear caliper and freeing the parking-brake assembly.

The 2+2 cabin features seating upholstered in black leather, and additional appointments include an Alpine cassette stereo, power windows, a gated shifter, and Ferrari-branded floor mats. Work in 2021-22 included repairing the dashboard and glovebox along with reupholstering the rear seats over replacement foam. The left-side door seal was replaced in 2024, and an under-dash strip was reattached. The air conditioning compressor has been removed.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a tachometer with a 7,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 49k miles. The gauge bezels were refurbished in 2021-22.

The transverse 2.9-liter DOHC V8 is equipped with quad Weber 40 DCNF carburetors, was factory rated at 240 horsepower, and has received a 0.5mm cylinder over-bore. Service completed in 2022 at George Riggin Specialty Auto in Harmony, Pennsylvania, totaled over $35k and included an engine rebuild following the discovery of a cracked cylinder head. Work consisted installing a used replacement head, adjusting the valves, and repairing the radiator along with cleaning and adjusting the carburetors, rebuilding the ignition distributors, and fitting the following replacement components:

  • Timing belt, tensioner, and spring
  • Main and connecting-rod bearings
  • 81.51mm pistons
  • Gaskets and seals
  • Spark plugs
  • Thermostat
  • Muffler
  • Radiator-fan temperature switch

In 2024, the fuel filter, spark plug boot seals, and airbox nuts were replaced, and the battery hold-down mount was repaired.
