This 1988 Ferrari 412 was special-ordered and imported to the United States by Ferrari collector Peter Kalikow in 1988, and it is said to have remained with its second owner from 1993 until it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2026. The car was specified in Prugna Metallic over tan and red leather upholstery, and it is powered by a 4.9-liter Colombo quad-cam V12 that is equipped with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and linked to a five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, pop-up quad headlights, fog lights, hood louvers, quad taillights, independent front and rear suspension, anti-lock disc brakes, 415mm metric five-spoke alloy wheels, front bucket seats, twin individual rear seats, a central rear armrest, power windows, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, dual-zone climate control, and supplemental rear cabin air conditioning. This 412 is now offered in Connecticut by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report and a clean New York title.

Unveiled at the 1972 Paris Motor Show as the successor to the 365 GTC/4, the 365 GT4 2+2 featured bodywork by Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina and was built through 1976, when it was replaced by the updated 400 model. The cars were not officially offered in the US, though some were imported and federalized in-period via the gray market.

The 412 replaced the 400i and featured body-color bumpers in addition to a revised front spoiler and sill panels. The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Prugna Metallic (306) and features pop-up quad headlights, fog lights, hood louvers, quad circular taillights, a black taillight panel, Pininfarina badging, and quad exhaust outlets. A ding is present in front of the fuel filler door, and additional photos of the paint and trim condition are viewable in the gallery below.

Alloy 415mm metric five-spoke wheels were mounted with replacement 240/55 Michelin TRX tires in preparation for the sale, according to the selling dealer. A spare tire is located in the trunk. The car features an independent front and rear suspension, and stopping power is provided by anti-lock discs at all four corners.

The front bucket and individual rear seats are upholstered in tan leather that extends to the door panels and individual rear seats, while red leather covers the dashboard and center console. Interior amenities include a central rear armrest, power windows, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, dual-zone climate control, and supplemental rear air conditioning controls.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer accompanied by supplementary readouts and a 180-mph speedometer that was installed when the car was federalized. A quartz clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.9-liter F101 Colombo quad-cam V12 is equipped with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer notes that an oil change was completed and a tune-up was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
