This European-market 1998 Ferrari 355 F1 Spider spent time in France before being imported to the US and federalized in 2001. It was purchased by the seller in 2017, and a ~$18k service completed in 2025 included replacing the timing belts for the 3.5-liter DOHC V8, along with the pump, actuator, and release bearing for its paddle-shifted six-speed F1 gearbox. Finished in Rosso Corsa over black Connolly leather upholstery, the car is equipped with a Tubi Style exhaust system, black soft top, 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels, a Challenge-style rear grille, pop-up headlights, automatic climate control, and a Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. This 355 F1 Spider is offered with import documentation, service records, a car cover, spare parts, a tool kit, a battery charger, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa, and styling elements include a power-operated black convertible top as well as pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, an integrated rear decklid spoiler, a Challenge-style rear grille, quad exhaust outlets, a vented engine cover, and air intakes on the doors and rocker panels. The left rocker panel has been repaired, and the turn signal relays were replaced in 2025.

The 18″ five-spoke magnesium wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were mounted in March 2025. Ferrari-branded brake calipers are mounted over ventilated discs at each corner. The wheel inserts were replaced, and the left rear wheel was refinished in October 2025.

The cabin features sport seats trimmed in black Connolly leather, and matching leather extends to the center console, door panel inserts, and lower half of the dashboard. Amenities include automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, and a Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth connectivity.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a replacement 200-mph speedometer that was installed when federalized, along with a 10k-rpm tachometer, coolant temperature gauge, and a digital gear indicator. Ancillary instruments in the center stack include an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 29k miles, approximately 11k of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report shows the issuance of a Not Actual Miles-branded Oregon title in September 2001.

The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 received an engine-out timing belt service in October 2025, at which time the valve covers were refinished, and the front crankshaft seal, camshaft seals, air filters, fuel filter, and drive belts were replaced.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through an electrohydraulically operated six-speed F1 gearbox. A Tubi Style exhaust system has been installed, and in March 2025, the clutch release bearing and F1 pump, actuator, and gear sensor were replaced.

The California Bureau of Automotive Repair sticker shown above was issued in July 2001, and a substitute US VIN plate is shown in the gallery below.

A tool kit and car cover will accompany the sale, along with import documentation and service records.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage and notes the aforementioned “Not Actual Mileage” title issued in September 2001.
