This Ferrari F40 rear bumper is equipped with black impact strips, as equipped for US-delivered versions of the supercar. The panel is painted red, and finish wear and the overall condition is shown in the gallery below. The bumper was removed from an F40 that was crashed in the early 2000s and reportedly rebuilt with an LM-style bumper, and the seller acquired this bumper in 2021. The rear bumper cover is now offered at no reserve in Torrance, California.

Each F40 had 11 body panels that were molded from composite materials including Kevlar, carbon, and aluminum and bonded to a steel tube-frame chassis. Construction of this rear bumper cover is largely Kevlar and carbon fiber. There is black paint around the louvers on the underside of the panel, along with differing shades of red paint, chips, and sanded areas.

Black impact strips are installed and run the width of the rear bumper and wrap around to the sides.

Additional photos showing the condition of the back of the panel are included in the gallery. Strap hinges have been added.
