This 1:4-scale fiberglass body shell was constructed in the style of Ferrari Dino 206 GT and 246 GT models, and the red-painted model is housed in a Plexiglas display case supported by height-adjustable legs that roll on casters. The seller acquired the model in Modena, Italy, in 2022. This Dino-style model and display case are now offered at no reserve in Bourbon, Missouri.

The 206 GT first appeared in prototype form at the 1965 Paris Auto Salon and was followed by revised concepts at the 1966 and 1967 Turin Motor Shows before entering production in early 1968 as Ferrari’s first road-going mid-engined car. The all-aluminum bodywork was designed by Pininfarina and hand-built by Scaglietti. The 206 GT variant’s 2,280mm wheelbase was 60mm shorter than that of the 246 GT that superseded it in 1969. The model here resembles the body shell of a Ferrari Dino GT model and is painted red. Faux red- and amber-lens lights are fitted at the rear. The model is about 40″ long by 15″ wide.

The display case is Plexiglas and measures 60″ long by 30″ wide by 14″ tall. It rests on a wheeled metal base, and the base’s legs can be adjusted for an overall height between 36″ and 46″. The seller notes that the piece could be used for a bar table.
