This 2009 Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M is one of 499 examples produced to commemorate Ferrari’s 16 Formula One constructors’ championships, and it has 8k miles through the current owner’s purchase in 2023. It is powered by a 4.3-liter DOHC V8 paired with a six-speed F1 automated transaxle and is finished in Rosso Corsa over black Alcantara and cloth upholstery. The car is equipped with a black convertible soft top, 19″ Scuderia alloy wheels, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, Brembo carbon-ceramic brake rotors, carbon-fiber exterior and interior accents, automatic climate control, carbon-fiber-backed seats, a JBL sound system, and a stereo with iPod connectivity. This 430 Scuderia Spider 16M is now offered on dealer consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, a car cover, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Maryland title.

The 16M is fitted with lighter bumper covers compared with the standard F430 Spider as well as a carbon-fiber front fin, headlight housings, mirror housings, rear grille surround, and rear diffuser. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa with a black convertible soft top, and additional details include xenon headlights, heated mirrors, 16M Scuderia badging, and dual exhaust finishers that exit through the rear valance.

The 19″ Scuderia alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin tires. The 16M features a stiffened chassis and a retuned suspension with ZF dampers and titanium springs. Stopping is handled by red-finished brake calipers fitted over Brembo carbon-ceramic rotors.

The cockpit features carbon-fiber-framed seats upholstered in black Alcantara and cloth mounted over exposed diamond-plate aluminum flooring. Carbon-fiber trim adorns the console, door panels, door sill plates, and dashboard, and additional appointments include a stereo with iPod connectivity, a JBL sound system, air conditioning, a wind deflector, a fire extinguisher, drilled aluminum pedals, and power windows and locks.

A plaque located on the dashboard denotes the car as one of 499 units produced.

The carbon-fiber-trimmed steering wheel features an integrated LED shift light, an engine-start button, carbon-fiber shift paddles, and a manettino dial for control of dynamic settings. Instrumentation includes a central tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a 220-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles, approximately 400 of which were added during current ownership.

The higher-compression version of the 4.3-liter F136 V8 employed for the 16M features a revised intake manifold and exhaust as well as carbon-fiber airboxes, and it resides in an engine bay with carbon-fiber bulkheads. Factory-rated output was 503 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque when new.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 automated transaxle and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Steve Harris Imports of Salt Lake City, Utah, along with factory equipment, colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $314,807.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
